Tonight we have our first of two double header game nights - are you kidding me? What were these people thinking when they made the schedule up? One game in a night is enough to make you think that you are going to die, two games could very well kill us! The first game starts at 8:30 and the second at 9:30 - which puts us not being done until 10:30 - this is past my bedtime! Fortunately for us we are playing the same team both games - at least this way we will both be working on death by the second game so nobody has an unfair advantage of being fresh! Last week's game actually wasn't too bad - we lost for the first time 10 - 9, but I was able to walk off the field without wincing in pain - a major improvement over the previous weeks! I did nothing but stretch my quads before the game instead of throwing the ball around - I have decided that is by far the most important thing to do - besides I can't throw hard enough to possibly injure anything in my upper body! There is a newsletter that comes out every week which gave me a good laugh so I will share part of it with you -

It's good to see that we are not the only people whose muscles are threatening a revolt! There are obviously plenty of other people who are hurting just as badly as we are! It's official, time is definitely not on our side!
