One Small Step

Today Maisie discovered the art of cruising ~ she has been pulling up here and there, but this past Saturday started pulling up like a mad woman ~ all week she has just pulled up and then plopped back down to scoot to her next destination. Today however she discovered that her feet would actually come up off the floor and move in the direction she wanted them to ~ and so she began to move in an upright position ~ upright as long as she is hanging on! Later in the day she discovered the handy little shopping cart that she got for Christmas and just what it can do for her! I have said all along Maisie is LAZY and does things at her own pace ~ we learned our lesson with Hunter about teaching them things such as this ~ that kid was crawling by 7 months, fluently cruising the day after he started to crawl, and stood up and walked off the day he turned 1 ~ I am thoroughly enjoying Maisie's leisurely pace!
